Display modes in oneSafe for iPhone and iPad, oneSafe Photos and oneSafe for Android
oneSafe comes with a variety of display modes that allow you to view your items in different ways. To choose your desired display mode, just hit the “Display” button(at the bottom left of the screen on your iPhone and top right on your iPad). You will then have a choice of three different ways to arrange your items:
View your items as small cards.
View your items arranged in a list.
3. Full screen
View your items in full screen mode.
At the bottom of the “Display modes” screen, you will see four specific “list view” modes. These allow you to sort your items:
- in alphabetical order
- in chronological order (by the date the item was last modified)
- in order of password strength (from strongest to weakest)
- grouped according to username
- by file size (only available in oneSafe Photos)
Another way to enter full screen mode
As well as using the “Display” button (outlined above), there is another way you can enter full screen mode. When you have an item open, simply tap the item once. A small menu will pop up giving a variety of options. One of these options will be to enter “Full screen” mode.
Once in full screen mode, you can easily navigate through the items of a category, zoom in and out of a photo or browse documents in all the most commonly used formats; PDF, Word, Excel, etc.
To leave full screen mode at any time, hit the “double arrow” button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Display modes in oneSafe for Mac
oneSafe comes with a variety of display modes that allow you to view your items in different ways. The three buttons at the top middle of the main screen allow you to choose your desired display mode. You have a choice of three different ways to arrange your items:
View your items as small cards.
View your items arranged in a list. By clicking on “Sort by user’s order” in this mode, you have a choice of eight different ways in which to sort your items (alphabetically, by date modified, etc.) You can also choose to arrange them in descending or ascending order.
View your items in columns of information.
Viewing photos and videos in oneSafe for Mac
oneSafe for Mac comes with an in-built screen for viewing photos and videos. To view a photo or video, simply click on the item. A horizontal blue bar will appear in the middle of the screen with the name of the photo or video. Underneath this name will appear the name of the file (“.jpg”, “.mov”, etc.) with a small “eye” icon to the right. Click on the “eye” icon to open the viewing screen.
Full screen mode in oneSafe for Mac
In oneSafe for Mac, full screen mode works in two ways; for the entire app or for a photo or video.
To exit full screen mode, hit the “Esc” key on your keyboard. Alternatively, slide your pointer to the very top of the screen. The “double arrow” button will appear at the right-hand end of the top drop-down menu bar. Click this button to exit full screen mode.
To exit full screen mode, hit the “Esc” key on your keyboard. Alternatively, hit the “double arrow” button that appears near the bottom of the viewed image.
